Esco Promotes Biosafety Awareness in Kenya

Esco continues its corporate mission of spreading biosafety awareness worldwide.

Esco successfully conducted Biosafety Awareness Seminar in the 26th Medical Laboratory Scientific Exhibition Conference for the Association of Kenya Medical Laboratory Scientific Officers (AKMLSO) in Kisumu, Kenya from 8th - 11th of October 2019.

As a constant contributor to this annual conference, Esco gave another presentation on laboratory safety in line with the exhibition's theme- Infection Prevention and Control: Role of Biomedical Laboratory Scientists wherein almost 250 laboratory scientific officers attended.

Professor Judy Miguda Anyang of Kisumu County's Ministry of Health and Sanitation, who opened this year's conference, visited the booth and had a glimpse of the Airstream® Gen 3 Class II Biological Safety Cabinet.

Another session for Biosafety awareness was conducted last October 15. Organized by Chemoquip Limited, the seminar took place in Nairobi, Kenya, where 56 participants consisting of laboratory managers, chief medical technologists, pharmacists, university professors and pathologists attended.
