Advancing Scientific Excellence: Esco Philippines at the 55th PSM Annual Convention
Esco Philippines, Inc. (EPI) participated in the 55th Annual Convention and Scientific Meeting of the Philippine Society for Microbiology, Inc. (PSM), held on July 15–17, 2026, at the De La Salle University Laguna Campus in Biñan, Laguna, Philippines.
With the theme, "Microbiology: Shaping the Future and Planetary Resilience," the PSM 55 welcomed distinguished scientists, researchers, and industry professionals to discuss the latest findings and insights in microbiology and biotechnology. The convention highlighted key areas that contribute to planetary resilience, including public health, microbial product discovery, environmental health, agricultural advancement, and biosecurity.
As part of its commitment to advancing scientific research, EPI awarded the Esco–PSM Basic Research Grant for New Researchers to two promising researchers, providing a total of PhP 200,000.00 in research funding. This initiative reaffirms Esco's continued support for the advancement of microbiological research and the development of the next generation of scientists in the Philippines.
